I know there's a similar prompt in the first round, but I'm not interested in having Marcone be Harry's protector and guardian. I want to see the push and pull between them at a point in their lives when they've become who they're convinced they are. How would Harry react to Marcone's violence, given that he'd just murdered DuMorne (in self-defence, but still)? How would Marcone react to finding out about Harry's magic (and thus its usefulness to him), at a point in his life when he's not yet ensconced at the top? What would make Harry stay and -- eventually -- leave?
I kind of see Harry being all, fuck you, I'm scared shitless but you can't help me-- and I'm only here cos I happen to be on my way, thanks very much for the food. Marcone can't decide whether Harry is An Innocent, Do Not Touch, or someone who's seen and experienced the kind of things that would make him a potential part of Marcone's crew -- only that Harry drives him around the fucking bend. And oh hey, there're these strange people who seem intent on hunting Harry down.
I'd like to see Harry ending up with Ebenezar anyway, however, tucking this AU back into canon, more or less.

Serious and/or cracky - Harry, Marcone and Ivy have all become unrepentant Denarians and are now a happy little family. While doubtless the Apocalypse is imminent as a result of this, what do they get up to in the meantime? Are they their own third faction among the Nickelheads, or do the Denarians finally get unified? Do they pull off a plan to bring the captured coins back into circulation? What are their Denarian forms? Are they for or against the Black Council?
I really hope for threesome smut. Or even just the trio making out in front of other Denarians, one-upping Nico and Deirdre kissing with tongue? Justin DuMourne and Daddy Raith were homophobic assholes in denial (most of the time) about really being bisexual. They join in an evil plot to gain power from Outsiders and in between calling up He Who Walks Behind (perhaps finding this name suggestive?) they discover they can share another secret.

Harry's being pragmatic, acting for survival, trying to avoid starving to death somewhere and (especially after Justin's attempts at mind-rape), figures that hiring out a body isn't that big a deal, and at least Marcone doesn't want to own Harry permanently-- just a mutually convenient arrangement, with money, shelter and protection in exchange for exclusive and on-demand access to Harry.
Bonus points for:
Non!Virgin Harry-- Harry having some previous consensual experience.
Marcone dressing Harry up and buying Harry things

Someone in the White Council - maybe a single person who can sway the others, or a group of wizards - doesn't like that Marcone is a freeholding lord of Chicago without any solid ties, and also doesn't like that Harry Dresden roams around Chicago without any known control over him.
So this someone (or someones) convinces the council to, somehow, make a contract that includes in it a requirement that Marcone and Harry must bond - the wizarding equivalent of marriage - or face the consequences (maybe the wardens will no longer serve Chicago? Making the city a refuge for all sorts of shady magical creatures). The idea is that Harry, because of his morals, would be a restraining force on John, and that John wouldn't let Harry make too many political waves (because he's more aware of political outcomes).
Of course, this blows up in their face because Harry and John together are quite a force to be reckoned with.
Also, I'd like to see a good amount of Harry/John interaction. :)

Someone/somebody notices the attraction everyone has in Dresden so they decide to mess with them. Like offering a lot of really suspicious foods(bananas, lolipops, etc).
Or something more obvious like dropping something and asking Harry to pick it us so when he bends over, Marcone just happened to be behind him drinking a latte. :D
It could even end up with everyone catching on and trying to one up each other, but ends up being effected as well. Other people just enjoy the show(Mab, Murphy, Ivy, etc.)

We all know that Harry's methods of saving the day are or tend to be bordering the ridiculous side to outright luncy. But they are surprisely effientive.
OP would like Harry saving saving he claims to not like from certain death.
I guess an example of what I want would be during a rooftop/cliff side fight, Marcone gets pushed over and Harry just dives after him and saves him and squashes the enemy while they're still in shock.
And then he acts as if it was normal.

He could smell heaven. He didn't know that was possible. He disengaged from the irate councilmember and followed the smell to a timid redheaded staffer.
"Where's the coffee from?" he asked. She whirled around with a small squeak - normally he found the sound kind of cute, but right now it was interfering with his ability to go and buy heaven.
"U-uh...I think it was called - " she checked a white napkin covered in pen writing - "Harry and Mac's?"
"May I try some?" he asked, as politely as he knew how (which was pretty polite, he just didn't usually bother).
"...sure, I guess? Just don't drink too much," she bit her lip, and offered him the cup.
The closer it got to his face, the more confident he was that this was literally heaven in a cup. When he took a sip, he realized he'd been kidding himself. It was better than heaven. He sighed and all the various tensions the election cycle had raised in his bodies just...disappeared. He opened his eyes and the world looked bright and fucking beautiful, and he was ready to attack this job and subdue it to his will.
The girl was looking at him expectantly, hand still extended.
"Umm?"
He looked at her, and back at the coffee. Did he have to give it back? Yes. He probably did.
"Can I have that map?" he nodded to the napkin, with a rough sketch of where the cafe was.
"I'll trade you," she grinned, offering the map with one hand and leaving the other open and waiting. It was a funny little dance, neither wanting to yield the advantage.
The victory of a scribbled napkin felt hollow when the warmth of the coffee left his hand. It stayed in his mouth and belly much longer, though, so he supposed it was alright to yield this one, knowing he could buy heaven whenever he wanted, in the future.
Morning came and the thought that got him out of bed was getting some of that coffee. He found the place with little incident, but it was dark. Fear seized him. What if they'd closed down, never to open again? He parked and got out, trying to find some indication of life. The door was locked, and the hours were not encouraging.
Coffee was sold only between the hours of 1pm and 5pm. He wracked his brain. The staffer must have taken a late lunch, it was 1:30 or so when he tried her coffee. Rahm didn't really have time to drive this far for lunch, and his days already seemed to stretch infinitely past 5pm, but that was the earliest he could possibly leave. He cursed. What kind of coffee shop didn't open in mornings?
He'd have to figure something out. At least he'd have Saturdays. They didn't even have the decency to operate on Sundays.

I have GOT to study for my midterms tomorrow. But I will get back to this.
"Where's the coffee from?" he asked. She whirled around with a small squeak - normally he found the sound kind of cute, but right now it was interfering with his ability to go and buy heaven.
"U-uh...I think it was called - " she checked a white napkin covered in pen writing - "Harry and Mac's?"
"May I try some?" he asked, as politely as he knew how (which was pretty polite, he just didn't usually bother).
"...sure, I guess? Just don't drink too much," she bit her lip, and offered him the cup.
The closer it got to his face, the more confident he was that this was literally heaven in a cup. When he took a sip, he realized he'd been kidding himself. It was better than heaven. He sighed and all the various tensions the election cycle had raised in his bodies just...disappeared. He opened his eyes and the world looked bright and fucking beautiful, and he was ready to attack this job and subdue it to his will.
The girl was looking at him expectantly, hand still extended.
"Umm?"
He looked at her, and back at the coffee. Did he have to give it back? Yes. He probably did.
"Can I have that map?" he nodded to the napkin, with a rough sketch of where the cafe was.
"I'll trade you," she grinned, offering the map with one hand and leaving the other open and waiting. It was a funny little dance, neither wanting to yield the advantage.
The victory of a scribbled napkin felt hollow when the warmth of the coffee left his hand. It stayed in his mouth and belly much longer, though, so he supposed it was alright to yield this one, knowing he could buy heaven whenever he wanted, in the future.
Morning came and the thought that got him out of bed was getting some of that coffee. He found the place with little incident, but it was dark. Fear seized him. What if they'd closed down, never to open again? He parked and got out, trying to find some indication of life. The door was locked, and the hours were not encouraging.
Coffee was sold only between the hours of 1pm and 5pm. He wracked his brain. The staffer must have taken a late lunch, it was 1:30 or so when he tried her coffee. So one day, Harry accidently breaks his computer when he came in unannouced and instead of turning off, the printer starts printing everything that was in the computer. EVERYTHING.
So now Harry found out about Marcone's fantasies. Now what?:D

Bonus if there was an unmentioned incident when Marcone sent the wrong files to him.
