Are you looking for the general theme of "someone trying to 'cure' Harry's perceived 'homosexuality' makes him realize that oh wait, he DOES like guys after all," or full on cracky AU with teenagers at a strangely a-religous degayification camp?
Full-on cracky AU, please. I love this film! Maybe it's cliched, sappy and decidedly '90s, but it was the first time I'd ever seen/read a gay couple have a happy ending, and it's been a favourite ever since. I see Harry as Megan and John as Graham, but feel free to switch things around.
CRACKY AU IT IS!!!!!! my first ideas inspired by this were for the former idea, but then I started thinking about the crackyness and now OMG I have to write it. And yeah, Harry as Megan and John as Graham and certain other characters showing up as other camp attendees and mweheheheheheh.
Now I just need to figure out a good older female character to pair Anastasia Luccio with in the role of the Older Lesbian Couple who lives nearby.
