I'd say kink it all the way up if you're comfortable writing it, but split it into a 5a/? and 5b/?, so if someone is triggered by it, they can skip to 6/?. Make sense?
To be clear, I'm actually more inclined to be squicked by the inherent dub-con than the dog-on-dog - I'd probably convince myself it's two alien species and just go along for the ride. All depends on which way the mental wind's blowing the day it's posted.
Actually, the more I work on this, the more I go D: at the inherent dub-con-ness of all dog sex - they may be an alien species, but they are essentially an alien species who have been bred for thousand of years to screw up their reproductive instincts so that they have no choice but to have sex with whoever their owners want them to. :/ Compare dog reproduction (even feral) with coyote or wolf, and, yeah, this situation would not come up the same way with a non-domesticated species.
