Number 2 is like the whole situation with Susan and Maggie, except Harry's on the other side of the equation. Interesting. I can't decide whether it would be better in a Maggie-less AU or not. On the one hand, you'd get a lot of interesting dynamics to work with, but on the other I can't imagine it not getting kind of really depressing.
As for number 1, I can't believe we haven't seen it already considering all the genderswapping going on. Maybe because no one believes Harry could pull off pretending to be someone else for long enough to actually get laid? Or that John's stalking is too thorough to overlook spontaneous transsexuality?
#2: I was thinking Maggie-less AU, because I haven't read Changes yet (but I'm completly spoiled), so I can't really relate to her character in any way. I'm mostly only interested in the scene, where they argue and Harry blurts it all out to Marcone.
#1: That's why I was proposing large quantities of alcohol. :) As for John's stalking tendencies... Harry gets really, really good at using a veil? ;) (Supposedly) disappears his male self in Nevernever and moves his female self to Murphy's couch? It's a kink meme! Realims gets checked at the door. And if not, we can always use... magic! :-)
