Kincaid then spends the next few hours protecting Butters and Ivy from the monster of the week that is running through Chicago causing chaos.
Butters develops a bit of a crush on Kincaid as a result. And Kincaid notices.
Bonuses for: Manipulative Ivy scheming to get the two together; Kincaid already having feelings for Butters; Virgin!Butters; Ivy discovering Butters' hero-fantasy (ie: "I want someone to just make it all better. I don't even care if I'm happy anymore.") through his journal. Yes, the Butters in my head is a bit angsty and emo. Bonus for that, too.
