Kaitou thief Dresden is a confusing thief. First, he sends warning notes, riddles of when and where he'll strike. Then he uses elaborate and explosive magic tricks in order to steal the object. Eventually, he'll return the object, seemingly touched. Finally, no one ever gets hurt by him or otherwise if he could help it.
This is sorta an alternative history of his mom and dad where, his dad used to steal the objects and his mom would remove the curses or place protection spells, etc. Harry's just continuting the biz.
I'm not quite sure what would Marcone be. Maybe a persistent detective who's fascinated with Harry's methods. Donar could be Marcone's backer or someone Marcone asked to bait Dresden. Donar is very amused with Marcone and Harry's interaction. Also knows why Harry's been stealing the objects.
OP would like a sexy threesome between the three of them and a scene where Harry demonstrates his ability to get out of handcuffs. :D
This sounds fun! Marcone could still be the one from the originial universe, but Harry's just moved to Chicago, hears about some infamous artifact/antique/etc that's just been acquired by some rich guy. Whatever it is, is mega-cursed, the poor sap who's got it needs help; so ... the owner's with the mob. The previous bosses (the Vargassis)weren't that great. How bad can this Marcone guy be?
