There is a *reason* why Rule Number 2 is around. Breaking the rules is still breaking the rules.

Nonnie, if you are wanting to preserve kinkmeme harmony, I would advise that you stop attempting to also break Rule # 2.

Rule #2 only really works when you only get annoyed by things you can fairly easily expect to find a rule against, but I've never seen an LJ comm with a rule against duplicate comments. And goodness knows people posting fics make duplicate comments everywhere. It's also helpful if you add things to the rules once you've realized that they annoy you.

Plus, personally, I'm more than twice as likely to look into a recommendation when two people come up with it independently. Do you really want to prevent things like that? People make mistakes. Sometimes those mistakes are good.

Okay, now you're not just annoying the mod, you're annoying everyone. No one give a shit, dude, and no one wants to read duplicate recs. Dresden fandom is fucking tiny half of us have read everything already and see recs as discouraging fills. Also, no one fucking cares.

No input on the rule two thing, but as the first reccer anon, I'm sorry if I was discouraging fills! Multiple fills are a thing of awesomeness, and this prompt deserves a good new fic to call its own. I only brought this rec up because it was a) really close to specifications and b) a tv-verse Harry/Bob that I suspected was somewhat outside of the scope of a lot of people on the meme.
