I'd like to see a fic based on one of my favorite quotes ever, the Vlad Taltos series by Steven Brust:
"No matter how subtle the wizard, a knife between the shoulder blades will seriously cramp his style."
(The character Vlad Taltos can use magic, but just about everyone in the world is better at quick battle magic than he is, so he goes for physical weapons).
Your choice how to apply this. One of the White Council wizards taken down by ordinary weapons (maybe by Marcone, that would be fun!) Morgan forced to cope with a paranoid Harry who has a gun during the period when he's stalking him. Murphy going after some asshole of a wizard as she gradually learns more about the White Council.
