I can't remember in which book Prachett mentions it (think it's one of the later ones) but Vetenari notes that the Guild of Accountants is so efficient in filing its taxes that they actually wind up recieving money from the city instead of the otherway around. I can sort of see marcone being that absolutely badass....

I especially like Marcone's crazy control issues here - the idea that if he can't have Harry, no one should (and they shouldn't have such an easy time getting him).

It's Marcone at his most masochistic, especially if you subscribe to the idea that he knows what she did in Small Favor. He'll threaten Harry for barely mouthing off to him (Death Masks) but she outright tries to kill him and he does nothing.
Give me something, anything about these two.

I'm loving this so far, especially teen!Harry, young mafia!Marcone and college!Thomas. :D Poor Harry has to go through the worst parts of being a teen and wizard and his young body being all jumpy.

true- but I could definitely see him with her as some very weird masochistic self-atonement trying to give her what she wants- what she wants being to hurt him kind of thing
That is EXACTLY what I am hoping for.
Loved the original fill, and I'm so psyched that there is more of it.
