Dresden and Marcone go on a date. Doesn't matter if it's established relationship or if Marcone's got him there by underhanded means... just have Marcone being slick as hell.

What happened in Small Favor, between Nicodemus and Marcone? We only knew Marcone was kidnapped and the next he lost half his ear, what else did he lose?
That series is my absolute favorite thing in Dresden fandom; I've re-read it more times than is probably sane.
So, Harry's gonna live to be like 300. And Thomas will too, if not longer. But the other people in his life - the Carpenters except for Molly, Murphy, Marcone and Hendricks - they all have mortal lifespans.
I want a story about 30 years from now, where Harry has been away for about 5 years doing something, and he rolls back into town and needs help for something and he goes to Murphy or Michael or Marcone. And he's like "Okay guys, SUIT UP" and they are like "Harry. We are 65 (or 70ish for Marcone). You're going to need somebody else to hold the machine guns for you."
And suddenly Harry realizes that he is just the same, maybe even more powerful with age, but they have gotten frail.

It's possible that everyone has their own way of seeing their Sight, but then, why is Harry's usually described in a horrible/insanity inducing way?
Also, in the Nightside series, the main character John has the Sight, but maybe a superpowered version of it since he can actually search everywhere as long as it's in his terrority.
There's also the theory that if you use your Sight, what you couldn't see before, can see YOU.
